Kieran Trippier had a night to forget for Newcastle as his 2 mistakes cost his side the first two goals on the way to a 3-0 defeat away to Everton. Goals from McNeil, Doucoure and Beto, all in the 79’ + meant that Everton jumped out of the relegation zone!

In an nutshell: Jon Rahm has joined LIV golf for a reported deal to be worth in excess of 600m! Rahm had been vocal of LIV in 2022, where it seemed he would never join.

Heres what he had to say yesterday:

β€œI believe in the growth of the game of golf. I’ve largely spoken about how Seve improved the game of golf in Spain and I’ve always said how I would like to do the same thing over there. And if I can reach a bigger audience it would be amazing and I do believe this process will help me do that.”

The Lakers and Pacers will contest this seasons In-Season final on Sunday (01.30 GMT) as the Lakers beat the Pelicans 133-89 and the pacers outlasted the Bucks to win 128-119.

Tyrese Haliburton had 27 and 15 for the Pacers to help them win, while the King dropped 30 and 8 (Ast) to help the Lakers.
