⛳️ - The Cognizant Classic at Palm Beach Gardens will finish on Monday, with Shane Lowry returning to the course three shots adrift after five holes of his final round. The final round was delayed due to thunderstorms yesterday.
🏐 - Down GAA legend and three-time All-Ireland winner Dan McCartan passed away yesterday. He won 3 All-Ireland titles in 1960, 1961 and 1968.
🏀 - The Boston Celtics trashed the Golden State Warriors by 52 points thanks to 29 points from Jaylen Brown and 27 points on his 26th birthday from Jayson Tatum. This leaves the Celtics 48-12, the best record in the league.
⚽ - Kyle Walker revealed Manchester City players have nicknamed Phil Foden the "sniper" for his shoot-on-sight policy this season. Foden bagged 2 goals as City came from 1-0 down to beat Man Utd 3-1 and keep the pressure on Liverpool at the top of the table.
🏈 - The NFL combine began and ended for the Irish trio of Rory Beggan, Mark Jackson and Charlie Smyth, who were put to the test in front of all 32 teams special coaches. Both Jackson and Beggan hit their 55-yard strikes, while Smyth pulled it just wide. The record NFL field goal is 66 yards.
🏃♂️ - Sarah Lavin capped a superb a World Indoor Championships performance with a fifth-placed finish in the final of the 60m hurdles. She clocked a 7.91, just outside her personal best.
🏉 - Springboks hooker Bongi Mbonambi has taken aim at England for their antics and “plastic energy” during the Rugby World Cup semi-final clash last October.
