#Football ⚽ - Ferguson determined to feature against Holland

In an nutshell: Evan Ferguson missed Brightons clash at the weekend, but according to Stephen Kenny, he is pushing to play

“Having not been available for his club at the weekend, he could easily have been ruled out but that doesn’t seem to be the case. He seems to be really positive in his outlook and we’ll see how he goes between now and the weekend. But he’s shown a great determination to come in this week and wants to play.”

Food for thought: Ireland however may be better served to lose the match against Holland to have any hope of Euro 2024 qualification. If Ireland lose on Saturday, this would almost guarantee 2nd place in the group for Holland, meaning Ireland could be given a play-off through the Nations League.
